Horizen halving explained
The second Horizen block reward halving is scheduled for December 7, 2024 (approximately). Horizen’s initial block reward was 12.5 ZEN. For next Horizen halving, the total number of ZEN mined by miners per block will be reduced from 6.25 ZEN to 3.125 ZEN. The Horizen reward halves every 840,000 blocks and has block time 2.5 minutes, so it happens approximately every 4 years. Annual Horizen inflation is reduced significantly.

Horizen reward ratio is 60% POW, 20% ZEN Node operators and 20% Treasury Fund

How many Horizen will ever be created?
Just like Bitcoin 21,000,000 ZEN, will be issued. The inventor stipulated more than 21 million Horizon limit to control the supply and therefore future price fluctuations.
