The current Ethereum Classic block reward (after the 2nd halving in April 2022) is 2.56 ETC per block. The next Ethereum classic “halving” is approximately February 19, 2024 and Ethereum Classic block reward will decrease to 2.048 ETC coins per block.

The third Ethereum Classic block reward “halving” is scheduled for August 8, 2024 (approximately).It’s not actually halving, it’s a 20% block reward reduction and we can say fifthening. For this upcoming Ethereum Classic reduction, the total number of Ethereum Classic mined by miners per block will be reduced from 2.56 ETC to 2.048 ETC. The Ethereum Classic reward halves every 5,000,000 blocks or it happens approximately every 2 years. Annual Ethereum Classic inflation is reduced significantly.
How many Ethereum Classic will ever be created?
210,700,000 ETC, will be issued. The inventor stipulated 210 million ETC limit to control the supply and therefore future price fluctuations.
When will be the last Ethereum Classic mined?
Based on the Ethereum Classic code, all ETC will be mined and in circulation by 2230, which leaves significant time ahead for global adoption and gradual growth of the network.
